Lazio Finally on the Verge of Completing Two Signings

Lazio have come to terms with Daichi Kamada and are in advanced talks for Midtjylland’s Gustav Isaksen. The agreement with the Japanese just needs to be finalized. He’ll be in town for the medicals soon.

Per Alfredo Pedullà, the Biancocelesti accepted the conditions set by his entourage. He’ll sign a two-year contract with an option and make €3M annually. The commissions are around €4M. The midfielder gladly signed off on the destination.

After onboarding Kamada, Lazio will proceed to seal the deal for Isaksen. They have arranged a €12M transfer, while he’d earn about €1.5M per year. He and his team are abroad for some friendlies, but it’s just a matter of time.

Claudio Lotito is plotting further moves to restore the peace with Maurizio Sarri. He’ll raise his offer for Samuele Ricci. However, as a fallback, he touched base with Lecce to probe Morten Hjulmand.

Our Take on Lazio Signing Kamada and Isaksen

The Japanese is no Piotr Zielinski, but he’s in the same ballpark trait-wise. He’s more similar to Luis Alberto than to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, though. It remains to be seen how much time and work getting to a robust-enough midfield that features both will take. Despite what the gaffer may think, they are fully equipped to add a starlet rather than a veteran on the flank.
