Lazio Have to Surmount Few Obstacles to Sign Coutinho from Barcelona

Philippe Coutinho is a difficult target for Lazio, but not an impossible one. The help could come directly from Barcelona, which are desperately trying to move him. They have some chances to land him late in the window if few situations went in their favor, Radiosei informs.

Lazio can not afford his €10M salary and would struggle to give him half that sum. However, the Blaugrana could contribute significantly to it, either with a loan deal or a conspicuous severance package. As a first condition, the Biancocelesti need to cash in properly on Joaquin Correa.

Moreover, they would have to convince the player. According to Mundo Deportivo, Coutinho is not keen on Lazio and prefers other destinations. But he lacks suitors, even though his agent Kia Joorabchian is canvassing the market to find a taker. The Biancocelesti could gain steam if there continued to be little interested in the Brazilian attacker.

Lazio are keeping tabs on other big names for the wings. James Rodriguez has been offered to them, but he too has a mammoth salary. They like Filip Kostic, but they have already filled their two extra-EU spots for this summer. While they contemplated renouncing to Dimitrije Kamenovic, they will likely keep their word and sign him to avoid angering his agent Matej Kezman.

Franck Ribery would be the easier to get as he is a free agent. There are some doubts about his physical condition, though. Julian Draxler might leave PSG after their incredible reinforcement campaign, and his representatives proposed him to the Biancocelesti, Il Messaggero informs.
