As Roma prepare to welcome Norwegian giants Bodo/Glimt to the Stadio Olimpico, questions remain as to where the Scandinavians would train ahead of the 2nd leg clash scheduled to take place on Thursday evening. However, that doubt has been casted aside by virtue of eternal rivals Lazio offering the Norwegians their Formello training ground to practice ahead of the blockbuster tie in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Earlier it was unknown as to where Bodo/Glimt would train, whether in Bodo or in Rome. Corriere dello Sport (via RomaPress) have reported of Lazio coming forward to allow the visitors to train at their facility.
Bodo/Glimt have a 2-1 lead heading into the second leg of the quarter-final clash after a controversial first leg that saw complaints arise from both dressing room regarding the sportsmanship of their respective benches and flaring tempers amid the high-intensity clash.
Jose Mourinho’s side have already lost twice in their three encounters so far against the Norway outfit, the first of which was a whopping 6-1 thrashing handed in Bodo in the third matchday of the group stages.
Both Roma and Lazio have experienced somewhat similar fates this league season, as they sit beside one another in 5th and 6th positions with 57 and 55 points respectively. However, it is the Giallorossi who are still contenders to bag a title, but they will have to overcome a tough Norwgian outfit first.
