Ivan Provedel – 6
Usual dependable self between the posts. Double deflection took 1st goal past him. Otherwise made saves you’d expect.
Adam Marusic – 6
The Montenegrin went about his business quietly at the back without venturing forward tonight and put in a crucial challenge in injury time to thwart an attack close to goal.
Nicoló Casale – 5
Did well to defend Lazio’s lead without standing out. No glaring errors or amazing moments but the Laziali held their breath when he headed back to Provedel with Osimhen chasing down in added time.
Alessio Romagnoli – 6.5
Took ownership of the back four and kept his eye on Osimhen and friends when Rudi Garcia threw on four attackers.
Elseid Hysaj – 6.5
More solid defensively than Lazzari. Needed to be with Napoli’s swashbuckling wingers. Patrolled his wing well.
Daichi Kamada – 5.5
Took his first goal well and was in a good position but again ineffective in midfield. Taken off after the hour as Sarri tries to help him settle. Still needs to improve if he’s to keep his place over Guendouzi.
Danilo Cataldi – 6
Not brilliant communication with back four found himself in odd places at first but was in his element in 2nd period while Lazio held on.
Luis Alberto – 8
Beautiful back-heel goal to open scoring and a genius dummy for the second that may as well be put down as an assist for Kamada. Great performance.
Felipe Anderson – 8.5
Toss up between himself and Alberto for Lazio’s best player tonight. best performance so far from Brazilian. Took advantage of gaps in defence for both goals and got himself two great assists.
Ciro Immobile – 6.5
Looked a little bit isolated at times and not all chances came through him as Lazio exploited wide areas. Not much a striker can do without the ball so not much to blame.
Mattia Zaccagni – 7
Used the afterburners to sprint away with what he thought was the visitors third but was chalked off for offside. Inadvertently denied Guendouzi debut goal less than five minutes later when he was judged to have interfered with play in build up.

Matteo Guendouzi – 6.5
Very promising debut for Guendouzi. Could’ve had a goal and an assist. Will battle Kamada for starting place.
Pedro – 5
Not too much of note but tripped over the ball in a four on two situation for Lazio. Brought ball away from defence when they needed it.
