Lazio Set to Sign Dynamic Serie A Forward

Serie A strugglers Lazio are on the cusp of announcing the arrival of versatile forward Tijjani Noslin from Hellas Verona. According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, new head coach Marco Baroni has convinced the 24-year-old Dutchman to join him at the Stadio Olimpico.

Lazio and Noslin have already found common ground over personal terms. The former Fortuna Sittard winger should land in Rome in the coming hours to complete his medical before inking a contract. He’ll sign a five-year deal worth €1 million net per season plus add-ons.

Meanwhile, Lazio will pour around €15m into Verona’s bank accounts. Baroni has been hellbent on taking Noslin to the capital since swapping Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi for the Biancocelesti earlier in the summer. But it wasn’t a straightforward task.

In addition to Lazio, Fiorentina and Torino were also in the mix. However, Baroni’s relationship with Noslin has helped the two-time Italian champions see off the competition. The young Dutch star comes as a replacement for Felipe Anderson, who joined Palmeiras on a free transfer.

Despite only moving to Serie A in January, Noslin has quickly become one of the most exciting prospects in Italy. While Verona barely kept hold of their top-flight status in 2023/24, Noslin went on a tear, racking up five goals and four assists in 17 league games.

After snapping up Noslin, Lazio can focus on striking a deal with Udinese for Lazar Samardzic. Their two opening bids for the Serbia international failed to come to fruition, but Claudio Lotito hasn’t given up his quest to sign the 22-year-old.
