Lazio fail to score for a second consecutive Europa League game as Maurizio Sarri’s side drew 0-0 with Austrian side Sturm Graz. The result leaves both teams, along with Feyenoord and Midtjylland, on four points.

While they were outshot 16-7, Lazio did end up with nearly 60% of the ball in the 90 minutes. In the end, it was another opportunity wasted by the Biancocelesti. They had a man advantage for the final 10 minutes of the encounter after Jusuf Gazibegovic earned a second yellow.

Despite the late man advantage, Lazio was unable to put any real pressure on the Austrian side. It leaves them with three wins in their last 11 Europa League group stage outings.

Midtjylland came from behind to draw 2-2 with Feyenoord in the other group game, resulting in all four teams level on four points. Lazio is third due to their goal difference. The fixtures will be reversed for next week, with the Italian side hosting Sturm, while Feyenoord will welcome Midtjylland.
