The fans refer to a recent statement by the president.
“Up until a few years ago, Lazio were a reject team. Since I took over, it has become an apical club. We have our say and even decide. We were a feeders’ side in the past. Juventus used to come here and sign our best players. Instead, we acquired two from them last summer. It had never happened.”
The quiet January window surely didn’t satisfy the supporters, as Lazio didn’t complete any signing. They’ll look to right the ship in the coming weeks. They’ll take on Cagliari, Bologna, Torino, and Fiorentina in Serie A play. Instead, they’ll square off with Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
