Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has arguably been one of Serie A’s best performing midfielders over the course of the past couple of seasons. Evidently, he has garnered attention from some of the world’s top clubs, including Juventus, who have time and again expressed interest in signing him.
Spanish outlet Defensa Central inform of Real Madrid’s dormant interest in the highly-rated Serbian midfielder. However, Los Blancos, along with Premier League heavyweights Liverpool, will need to shed out atleast €100M for his services, which is marginally less than what Lazio president Claudio Lotito has repeatedly demanded from interested suitors.

Several other clubs from England, including Arsenal and Newcastle United have been linked as a potential destination, but regular Champions League football is what Milinkovic-Savic seeks.
Whereas, on the Bianconeri front, recent turmoil will certainly affect the club’s transfer strategy in the coming months. However, his agent Mateja Kezman is open to hearing out offers, having already scheduled a meeting with Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez. The reigning European champions wish to sign him as Toni Kroos’ successor, as per Diario Gol (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).

For now, the Serbian seeks a greater challenge than the one he undertakes at Lazio. With his contract expiring at the end of the 2023/24 season, it may not be long before he departs Stadio Olimpico.
