The lawyer of Rafael Leao and Nicolò Zaniolo offered an olive branch to Milan and Roma to quell the recent controversies. Tom Dimvula spoke to Sky Sport about his client.
“There has been an increase of fake and misleading news concerning him lately. This information has just one aim: paralyzing the cordial and professional dialogue we have with the Milan management about his contract renewal. We are working together to find a solution that suits both parties.”
“His priority hasn’t changed: he wants to stay and continue his path of growth and development in this team and city that he loves so much. We deny any request to lower his release clause to facilitate his sale next summer. He’s completely focused on the goals of his current club and wishes to be able to work with calm and serenity to resume winning.”
While Leao spoke through his representative, Zaniolo penned a letter to Ansa.
“Many things have been said and written about me in the last few weeks, and many aren’t true. I’ve come here as an unknown player, and the team and fans welcomed me as one of them. They gave me confidence, courage, and affection in dark and terrible times after the injuries. I felt I repaid that with that goal in Tirana, gifting them an unforgettable joy.”
