Now set to miss Milan’s league game vs Fiorentina, Milan will hope to have Leao ready for their crucial UEFA Champions League outing against Borussia Dortmund.
Meanwhile, Calabria’s injury is less severe, with the fullback picking up an injury due to an overload on the left flexor muscle, thus prompting Stefano Pioli to replace him with Yunus Musah at half-time.
Although Calabria’s recovery time is unclear, he is unlikely to miss the games against Milan’s next two opponents. He had been called up by the Azzurri for the first since June 2022 but has been omitted from the squad due to the injury.
