The Lega Serie A will hold a meeting on Tuesday, February 15, on an urgent basis. The meeting was called to elect the new president of the League and to discuss the renewal of the League Statute.
The meeting is set to take place in the Milan office in Via Ippolito Rosellini starting at 9.30 AM. The new president of Serie A will replace Paolo Dal Pino, who resigned from his position on February 1 to move with his family to California.
The meeting agenda also includes a few rumored points aimed at modernizing the top Italian championship to increase the league appeal and bring calcio back to where it deserves to be. New sponsorship proposals for the 2021-2024 seasons will also be discussed, as well as the possibility to increase the capacity of stadiums as a consequence of the decreasing curve of the Covid pandemics trend.
