Robin Gosens has not enjoyed the best of starts to his Inter career, restricted to just 548 minutes of game time on 18 appearances for the club so far this season. The left-back was left out of Germany’s World Cup squad, with national team coach Hansi Flick explicitly mentioning that he is out of pace for the showdown event.

Bayer Leverkusen remain in the lead in the transfer race for Gosens, with other Bundesliga heavyweights such as Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach, Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt also expressing interest.
However, as per latest Calciomercato reports, Premier League outfit Leicester City have emerged in the spotlight for his signature.

The wingback is currently enjoying time off, before he returns to training for Inter in a short while under Simone Inzaghi, who has so far remained coy on the player’s status at the Nerazzurri outfit.
Gosens has suffered from recurring injuries that have heavily contributed to the lack of playing minutes this season.
