Jurgen Klopp Infuriated with Question Surrounding Lack of Safety in Naples
Before the match, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp was furious when asked about safety concerns in Naples. The German labeled the reporter’s question as “embarrassing.” He went on to say that the journalist “wanted to create headlines” ahead of the match.
Whether the coach’s response to the question is connected to the fan’s violence post-match is still unknown. Regardless, it goes without saying that the fans were far from pleased with their side’s showing that night.
