Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
According to Fichajes.net, Jurgen Klopp is eager to add more firepower to his midfield after the departure of Georginio Wijnaldum to PSG. Ruiz is someone Liverpool are interested in signing and they are closely monitoring his progress at Napoli. Real Madrid and Barcelona were also keen on the 25-year-old but could not meet the Partenopei’s financial demands.
Ruiz, who is currently valued at €45m according to Transfermarkt, has amassed 20 goals and 13 assists in 146 appearances across all competitions since joining Napoli from Real Betis.
The Spaniard has done pretty well for Luciano Spalletti’s side so far, scoring five goals while providing three assists in 18 matches.
Ruiz has been linked to a move away from Naples for some time now and there is a fair chance of him joining a bigger club next summer. Liverpool have some pretty good players in midfield and the 25-year-old’s addition would no doubt strengthen that department.
