Liverpool Prepare Offer for Soon-To-Be Free Agent from Inter

Premier League giants Liverpool are serious on bringing in Inter’s 28-year-old midfield ace in Marcelo Brozovic, but there’s a catch. The Croatian midfielder has been shortlisted as the first transfer move for the club when he becomes a free agent at the end of the current 2021/22 season, according to Inter Live.

Manchester United, Juventus and Tottenham are also said to be interested in him but Liverpool are reportedly ‘more serious’ about a potential move. No move materialized for Brozovic this transfer window even as no contract renewal deal came through between Inter and the player.

The former Dinamo Zagreb man is a wanted man, including in Milan as the Nerazzurri hope to finalize a renewed deal on mutual terms.

However, a move to Liverpool and life in the Premier League with better wages may prove to be very attractive. The Nerazzurri are ready to offer €5m but Liverpool are ready to do two better by offering €7m net per season.

Liverpool will be able to lure the Croatia ace on a pre-contract agreement from the start of the new year in 2022, provided he does not renew with Inter until then.
