Lazio are busy preparing to return to Serie A, as they await just one more club friendly before the Christmas break. The Biancocelesti dispatched Galatasaray with a 2-1 comeback victory, with Felipe Anderson equalizing scores, before Luis Alberto scored the winner in the 46th minute.
Alberto captained Lazio for the match, but believes Ciro Immobile is a much more natural choice to lead the team, speaking to the press (via Tuttomercatoweb) after the win in Turkey.

“I don’t attach much importance to the captain’s armband, we’re all the same here. The captain is Ciro Immobile and I know that Danilo Cataldi likes to wear the armband too. Either way, it’s always an honor to be the captain.”
The game against Galatasaray was Lazio’s first match in a month, since their 3-0 defeat to Juventus at Allianz Stadium. Alberto thinks his side is ready to charge in the second half of the campaign.
“The goal gives me confidence and motivation. The month of October was very difficult with many games. We return with the desire to do very well in the second part of the season.”
The Biancocelesti resume their Serie A season against newly-promoted Lecce on January 4. They lie fourth in league standings, just one place above Inter, despite sharing the same number of points.
