It’s always nice to snap up the primary target and see a long chase come to fruition, but, even though Conte knows how to use and feed him better than anybody else, it’s a massive risk given the fee, his age, and the not-so-stellar campaign at Roma where he looked over the hill at times. After a lull midway through the summer, the Partenopei are going all-in again on the transfer market. Their ‘win-now’ mentality better pay dividends, or they’ll be in a financial hole for years to come.
