Milan have received a huge boost in the pursuit of Chelsea outcast Christian Pulisic, with the USMNT international disinterested to move anywhere else other than the Rossoneri. He now has the surefire chance to revive his plummeting career at the San Siro.
As per Calciomercato, Olympique Lyonnais’ offensive for Pulisic has hit a dead end after the winger expressed his interest in joining Milan. The American made his intentions known to the Chelsea management, who were on the verge of accepting €25M offer for his services. Lyon can count themselves out of the race, as Milan are inches away from securing a deal.
AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has driven Milan’s interest in Pulisic and wants to use him primarily as a No 10 — the role in which he has frequently shone at international level but has rarely been trusted to play for Chelsea and previous club Borussia Dortmund.@TheAthletic pic.twitter.com/8jWRqDas5n

The Italian giants have reportedly already agreed terms of contract with Pulisic, but an agreement with Chelsea is still missing. Keeping in mind Pulisic’s existing contract at Stamford Bridge which expires at the end of next season, Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani presented an initial offer of €15M – a price tag the Blues deem very low.
Juventus have also been linked with a move for Pulisic.
Milan are expected to improve on their initial proposal and a deal is anticipated to be struck sooner rather than later.
