Manchester United Outcast Offered to Roma and Juventus

Roma and Juventus have been given the chance to sign Donny Van De Beek, who’s no longer on Manchester United’s plans following an injury-riddled season and a previous loan spell at Everton. The two Serie A sides don’t seem particularly keen. The Giallorossi might consider him down the line if he’s still available, Il Messaggero reports (via Fantacalcio).

The capital side could be open to adding the midfielder on a temporary spell if he’s still without a team in a few weeks. The Dutchman, who stayed at Old Trafford after the hiring of his former Ajax mentor Erik Ten Hag, played just ten games due to a major knee issue. He spent half of the 2021/2022 campaign at Everton, but a pair of thigh problems marred his stay.

While Roma filed the candidacy of Van De Beek away, Juventus said that they weren’t interested, Tuttomercatoweb informs. They chased after him two years ago, but a swap with Weston McKennie fell through. The Bianconeri are seeking somebody with his traits but prefer different options. Moreover, he makes over €7M per year.

The Giallorossi, which formalized the arrival of Evan N’Dicka Wednesday, are hard at work to complete some sales, Sky informs. Justin Kluivert is close to Bournemouth in a €10M deal, while Carles Perez could join Celta Vigo for €6M. PAOK inquired about Gonzalo Villar.

Our Take on Van De Beek, Roma, and Juventus

He’s a reclamation project given his recent injury woes, but his lofty salary makes him too big of a gamble for Italian sides. He’d become a real target only if the Red Devils covered most of it.
