Manchester United Send Scouts to Watch Juventus Target

Juventus target Aurelien Tchouameni has found another keen suitor in English giants Manchester United. The Red Devils reportedly sent an entourage of scouts to AS Monaco’s underwhelming stalemate against PSV Eindhoven, to better observe and report on the highly-rated 21-year-old midfielder.

According to Footballinsider247, United are ready to line up a potential first offer for the Monaco central midfielder, in a bid to be prepared for the departure of another Frenchman in Paul Pogba, whose contract is set to expire at Old Trafford at the end of the current season.

Juventus have long been touted to get him, having scouted him for much of last summer. Now, Manchester United have been revealed as serious contenders for his signature.

A Europa League clash would have been the ideal match to scout the talent, but as the encounter between PSV and Monaco turned out to be a dull affair, the scouts assigned to the France international will have to wait atleast one more match before actually drawing up the end report.

It’s safe to say that the encounter at Stade Louis II is arguably the worst match that could have been chosen to scout the Frenchman. However, he was also on the watchful eyes of scouts when Monaco edged out the Dutch club by a 2-1 scoreline on October 21 in Eindhoven.

He will continue to be monitored closely by scouts of top European clubs including Manchester United and Juventus.
