Balotelli Dreams of Potential Milan or Inter Homecoming

Mario Balotelli left Turkish club Adana Demirspor in the summer window to join Swiss side Sion on a two-year contract – his ninth club across five different countries over the past decade.

In what can only be described as a nomadic career, the Lumezzane youth product has moved across the continent without break, playing for Inter, Manchester City, Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille, Brescia, and Monza before his two most recent stops.

However, there are two outfits the striker has expressed his respect for, citing them as those any kid can picture starring for. Speaking to DAZN in an exclusive interview, the ex-Italy international revealed great admiration for the two Milan giants.

“Milan. I like Milan. It’s bad that I say Milan, as I wouldn’t mind Inter either. They are the two most beautiful teams a footballer can be in, two sides a kid can truly fantasize about.”

He spent three seasons in the Nerazzurri colors, scoring 28 goals in 86 appearances, before jumping ship to Manchester, after which he represented the Rossoneri over two spells – registering 33 goals across 77 caps for the current Scudetto holders.
