Marotta Rejoices for New Long-Term Contract with Inter

Giuseppe Marotta has commented on his contract extension with Inter till 2027 and more in his remarks during RCS Sport Industry Talk. He said his piece about the draw with Juventus (via Tuttomercatoweb).

“There’s no regret because it was a positive performance. We gave continuity to our recent past. It’s a good omen to fight for an important objective. It’s a reassuring display. We went down in the score, but the team rallied and came back. This proves our growth and self-confidence under the tutelage of Simone Inzaghi.”

Marotta dished on Lautaro Martinez and his spectacular numbers.

“He deserves all the credit and also has some room for improvement, even though he’s more than doing his job from a statistical viewpoint. We shouldn’t forget that he’s also our captain. He’s getting rave reviews from his teammates for his new role.”

Marotta addressed his renewal.

“I’m happy, proud, and grateful to have been given this chance by the ownership. My colleagues Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin did the same. We’re pleased to continue working for these colors and club.”

Marotta is working on a few extensions.

“We don’t have precise deadlines. There are two parties in the negotiations, and both want to finalize them. If it won’t happen before the end of 2023, it’ll be in early 2024.”
