Martinez spoke to SportMediaset (via FCInterNews) following the game and rallied his side to continue the positive form that now sees them glide on a seven-match unbeaten streak.
“We have to continue as we are doing. In these last matches we have found important results in the league, so we have to continue working this way, as we’ve been doing this week, all together and united because this is it. If we do this, it will be easier to go where we want to go.”
The second leg is strongly in favor of the Nerazzurri, as they will enjoy the home advantage along with the two-goal cushion against an outfit seeking to grab a final spot for the first time since 2007.
