Milan Accelerate Talks with Bordeaux to Purchase Young Midfielder

Milan are aggressively pursuing Yacine Adli and are trying to come to terms with Bordeaux. The Rossoneri opened talks a couple of days ago and quickly made tangible progress. They are not in the final stretch yet, but there is a lot of momentum, Tuttomercatoweb reports.

Les Girondins have asked for €10/12M for the 21-year-old. Milan proposed less, but some easy bonuses could facilitate the negotiation. Bordeaux have to give PSG 40 percent of the profit as per previous arrangements. They have already found his replacement in Fransergio from Sporting Braga, Gianluca Di Marzio indicates.

Adli has been a regular contributor in the last two seasons, where he has played 56 Ligue 1 matches, scoring 5 goals and setting up 8 teammates. The Milan brass see him more as a central midfielder than as a no.10, the specialized site informs. Depending on some sales, there could still be room for another addition to the front-line. According to transfer market expert Nicolò Schira, they have already agreed on a four-year contract with Adli.

The Rossoneri believe him to have a high upside and are sprinting to beat out the competition, MilanNews informs. If the outcome of the talks were positive, he would be assessed in practice by Stefano Pioli. Tommaso Pobega could leave on loan if the newcomer played chiefly in front of the defense. On top of Spezia and Fiorentina, also Sampdoria, Cagliari and Udinese are also eager to bring in the Italian youngster on another temporary stint.
