Milan and Inter Continue to Stalk Torino Talent Ricci

Despite Torino inching closer to securing Samuele Ricci on a long-term deal, there is lingering threat from the neighboring city of Milan, where Inter and Milan continue to keep close tabs on the Empoli youth product. 21-year-old Ricci has been gaining prominence as of late under coach Ivan Juric, and it might not be long before he moves.

As per Tuttosport (via FCInterNews), there is a transfer market Derby brewing for the Italian center midfielder. Milan are particularly said to be interested in a swap deal with the Granata, perhaps with the likelihood of Tommaso Pobega moving to Stadio Olimpico Torino.

The Rossoneri want to see him partner Sandro Tonali in midfield, and in a similar manner, Inter want Ricci to play alongside Nicolo Barella.

The former Empoli youngster is touted to be the future of Italy’s midfield line, and a move to either club would see him play alongside a potential national teammate. Ricci has scored and assisted once in 21 appearances for Torino this season.
