Milan and Napoli Keep Tabs on Brazilian Starlet Angelo

Milan and Napoli are on the hunt to bolster their youth ranks with an up and coming Brazilian talent from Santos, the same club Neymar, Felipe Anderson and Rodrygo graduated from. Ângelo Gabriel Borges Damaceno, better known as Angelo, broke Santos legend Coutinho’s record for being the second-youngest ever player to appear for the club – aged just 15 years, 10 months and 4 days – only behind Pele.

As per latest information from Italy, the young Brazilian is in the crosshairs of both the Rossoneri and the Partenopei for a transfer in the coming windows. He was recently put in the spotlight by Tuttomercatoweb, and during the exclusive interview, the 18-year-old revealed his dream to play at the biggest European clubs.

“I want to concentrate on Santos, then tomorrow who knows. It is clear that I would love to play in the most prestigious stadiums in Europe. I already imagine myself at Santiago Bernabéu, in San Siro, at Camp Nou, at the Parc des Princes. I dream of playing the Champions League, LaLiga, Serie A, Premier, Ligue 1: how could I deny it? To get there, however, I know that I will still have to go a long way,” said Angelo.

Angelo also remarked on the players he looks upto for technique and skill.

“I’m fast, I like to point the opponent, jump them with dribbling in a direct manner. That’s why I see myself in Neymar, Robinho, Ronaldinho – I think of the great Brazilian tightrope walkers. I am inspired by them, I studied them in detail and now on the field I try to repeat those who played.”

It is understood that Milan and Napoli have already sent scouts to evaluate the youngster’s abilities.
