Milan and Torino Need to Sell Before Luring Mazzocchi

Pasquale Mazzocchi has seen his value increase since last season, as he played a vital part in securing Salernitana’s Serie A safety with his decisive performances. Top Italian outfits such as Juventus and Bologna have already expressed interest in signing the Naples-born right-back, but two other teams in Milan and Torino are leading the fight to lure him.

As per latest reports from Italy (via Calciomercato), Granata coach Ivan Juric is seeking to reinforce his right flank with a versatile wingback capable of also featuring on the left wing. Talks have reportedly intensified between the two clubs, but the presence of the Rossoneri is bound to shake things up.

Milan possess an amicable relationship with the Southerners, which they wish to leverage in order to sign Mazzocchi, perhaps on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy. However, they will need to sell Fode Ballo-Touré first before making any moves.

Similarly, Torino are obliged to sell one of their own to make space in their 27-man squad to onboard Mazzocchi, who is valued at €10M by Salernitana with three more years remaining on his contract.

Our Take on Mazzocchi Exit Links

Mazzocchi is an affordable target for both Torino and Milan, and he is certainly look to up his game by moving to a bigger club from Salernitana. A move to the Rossoneri certainly seems like a dream move for Mazzocchi, but a transfer to Torino could prove fruitful as well.
