Lecce cashed in on a couple of players during the summer, but not their most profitable piece, Patrick Dorgu, who’s being tracked by Milan, among others. They believe that his price tag will keep growing, Tuttomercatoweb informs.
The Salentini have opened talks to renew and touch up his contract, which presently expires in 2027. They turned down offers from Chelsea and Tottenham in the most recent window.
Lecce think that Dorgu will be worth €40M in 2025, also thanks to a bidding war that could involve Milan and the English powerhouses. The prodigy is an early candidate to succeed Theo Hernandez should his extension not come to fruition. The French star is tied to the Rossoneri until 2026. Things will come to a head one way or the other this year.

They are a tad optimistic, but his ceiling is sky-high considering what he has already shown at 19. He might become a regular for Denmark too, which doesn’t hurt. His transition to a more offensive role seemed like just a ploy to give him minutes last year, but it has stuck through the summer. He does bring a lot to the table in the final third too despite beginning his career as a left-back. If he completes the process, he wouldn’t be a great candidate to replace the Rossoneri star, but there’s a long way to go before that situation is sorted.
