Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani addressed the present issues at the club during Tammy Abraham’s introductory presser. He defender coach Paulo Fonseca (via Ansa).
“We obviously wished to have collected nine points, but we’re not panicking. I wouldn’t say that the next matches are particularly important or anything of the sort. We’re satisfied with the work of the gaffer during the preparation. We’re with him and the squad.”
The official downplayed Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao isolating themselves from the rest of the squad during the cooling break in the Lazio game.
“Too much has been said about it. We and the players were surprised by the reactions. It’s a nothing burger. Fonseca and Theo commented on it, also speaking for Leao. They didn’t mean to stir the point. At a certain point, it’s up to you whether you believe it or not.”
Furlani took stock of the window and the early difficulties for Milan.
