After passing his medical on Monday, Jens Petter Hauge has officially moved to the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt on a loan move, with a purchase option.

The 21-year-old has been offloaded from Milan with the intention of getting him more consistent playing time. Hence, the one-year loan deal. The Rossoneri signed from Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt last year. He scored five goals and made one assist in 24 appearances, in what was a decent first season.

The club wrote in a statement: “AC Milan announces it has sold the sporting performances of Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt on a temporary loan basis, with an obligation for a definitive purchase upon the occurrence of certain conditions.

The Club would like to thank Jens Petter for always showing the utmost professionalism and wishes him all the best for his personal and professional future.”

The Rossoneri first spotted him on the big stage when he put impressive performances for Bodø/Glimt against them in the Europa League preliminary rounds.

Frankfurt themselves are dealing with the loss of their star striker in Andre Silva, after the former Rossoneri left to experience a new turn at RB Leipzig.
