Milan Cut Trio for Champions League, Full Squads for Inter and Atalanta

After Juventus, also Milan, Inter, and Atalanta announced their Champions League lists today. Due to the restrictions, the Rossoneri had to keep out three players. Instead, the Nerazzurri and the Bergamaschi have been able to fit their whole rosters.

Milan decided to omit Pietro Pellegri, Samuel Castillejo and Andrea Conti. The young striker joined this summer to be the third option up front behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud. The Spaniard was a regular last season. However, the club has been trying to sell him during the summer, and they still might. He is in talks to join CSKA Moscow, Calciomerato.com reports. The fullback returned from a loan spell at Parma and is not in the coach’s plans, although he could not find a new home due to his high salary.

Inter left out Christian Eriksen, who is recovering from his health scare, Gabriel Brazao, who is nursing an ACL tear, and young forward Martin Satriano. Atalanta were able to insert everybody, including the injured Hans Hateboer.
