Milan Eye Blackburn Rovers Striker to Boost Attack Line

Milan are reportedly keeping an eye on various profiles to strengthen their attack, including Chelsea striker Armando Broja and Mohammed Kudus of Ajax. With veteran strikers Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the twilight of their respective careers, the Rossoneri management is keen on nourishing talent for the future.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), another exciting striker is being watched by the club scouts in light of a potential move next transfer window. Blackburn Rovers’ forward Ben Brereton Diaz is the name in contention for a deal to be struck.

The 23-year-old Chilean comes from Manchester United’s youth academy and has reportedly been impressing Rossoneri scouts with his performances in the EFL Championship. His contract at the Riversiders expires at the end of the current season.

Diaz was born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, but instead chose to play for Chile having qualified for the national team through his mother. He has 41 goals in 149 caps for Blackburn since moving from Nottingham Forest, including 10 goals in 23 appearances this season.
