Milan Eye Chelsea Youth Product as Ibra and Giroud Successor

It looks very much like Milan have already shortlisted a main target to welcome into the club’s ranks, as a direct replacement for ageing strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud.

Executives Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are already eyeing a new number nine next summer. Chelsea youth product Armando Broja, who spent last season at Southampton, is the marksman in the spotlight.

According to Calciomercato, talks have already taken place between Maldini, Massara and intermediary Cheikh Fall at the Rossoneri headquarter – Casa Milan. The Rossoneri have already eyed the striker in the past transfer windows and it is a move that has potential to materialize next summer.

Current forwards Ante Rebic and Divock Origi will be evaluated by the hierarchy before moving forward for the 21-year-old Albanian striker, who is said to perfectly fit Milan’s football philosophy.

He recently extended his Chelsea contract until the summer of 2028, but it is not going to affect Milan’s efforts in the transfer market.
