Milan Eye Las Palmas Wonderkid Targeted by Real and Barcelona

Las Palmas wonderkid Alberto Moleiro has been turning heads in the Spanish Segunda Division with his performances of late, with Real Madrid and Barcelona keeping close tabs on the midfielder, who might just follow the footsteps of fellow Spanish talent Pedri.

The 18-year-old has now attracted scouts from Milan to watch him. According to Calciomercato, the Italian giants have watched him enough to know that he is a future first-teamer destined for a striking career ahead. The Spain U19 international has appeared regularly for Las Palmas in the second division, garnering one goal and as many assists in 12 matches so far.

Known to function as a well-gelled attacking midfielder, Moleiro is also a versatile attacker capable of running down the wings with blistering pace or capable of acting as a deep-lying playmaker. Perhaps, Brahim Diaz is the only player within the Rossoneri squad who Moleiro can replicate perfectly, as a mezzala.

The report mentions of his current release clause of €10m set by the Gran Canaria side, although he still has a transfermarkt value of €2.5m.

With a contract that expires in June 2023, and a possible promotion to La Liga, his value is expected to triple at the end of the current season.
