Milan Eye Porto Striker with €100M Release Clause

23-year-old Porto striker Evanilson has lured the attention of Milan for a move next summer, as the Rossoneri hunt for reinforcements up front in view of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s latter years as main marksmen.

Portuguese outlet A Bola report of the Brazilian forward appearing on Milan’s radar, albeit with an intimidating release clause of €100M. The Rossoneri are understandably averse to paying the huge amount and are willing to part with less than half of that next summer.

Evanilson has a contract valid until June 2027 with Porto, having recently extended his stay in October 2022. They do not intend to part ways with him anytime soon, especially after having lost Luiz Diaz to Liverpool earlier.

The striker has been in impressive for the the Portuguese giants, scoring 8 goals and registering 7 assists in 25 appearances this campaign. Evanilson popped up on the European radar at the end of last year, when he ended the 2021/22 season with 21 goals from 46 appearances.
