Serie A runners-up Milan are reportedly one step away from announcing Tottenham Hotspur defending as their second summer signing. According to Fabrizio Romano, the final round of talks between the two clubs will take place today after the player agreed on personal terms with the Rossoneri.
Milan have been on Emerson’s trail since the beginning of the summer. With Paulo Fonseca seeking a decent replacement for Davide Calabria, the Brazilian full-back has emerged as the club’s top priority to address the right flank.
Frustrated with a lack of first-team opportunities at Tottenham, Emerson agreed to join Milan weeks ago. However, the Italian giants have struggled to find common ground with Spurs.
