Milan Find New Attacking Prospect in Lille’s Edon Zhegrova

As Milan prepare to rejuvenate their aging attack line, Zhegrova – nicknamed Messi of the Balkans’  – has emerged in the spotlight for the Rossoneri management. With several members of the forward line expected to leave the club, including Real Madrid loanee Brahim Diaz, Milan have accelerated their efforts in the market.

Talented Lille right-winger Edon Zhegrova is reportedly a solid transfer prospect for the club, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport. The 24-year-old Kosovo international has had a positive impact at Lille since joining from FC Basel in the 2022 winter transfer market.

While not the most important figure in Paulo Fonseca’s side, Zhegrova has nonetheless made his presence known when given a chance – registering 4 goals and 5 assists in 24 appearances for Les Dogues this season.

With Milan’s attack line in need of fresh faces, the Germany-born attacker’s talent make him an attractive prospect to arrive in the summer. Moreover, the Rossoneri possess good relations with the Ligue 1 outfit, given their previous negotiations for Rafael Leao.

Zhegrova will see his contract expire in the summer of 2026, and anything in the range of €10M is expected to entice the French club.
