Milan are making headway in the summer transfer market, especially after the contract renewals of two of their most important executives – Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. The duo recently extended their stay as the top management, thus paving way for the club to advance further for important transfer targets, with the shortlist boiling down to two at the moment.
The first target remains Belgian talent Charles De Ketelaere, who has long been on the Rossoneri radar. Milan are ready to invest his transfermarkt value worth €30M, or slightly more, to bring him from Club Brugge. However, it is understood that the Belgian giants are interested in one or two Rossoneri youth players to head their way – Bjorklund and Roback.
The attacking midfielder was personally earmarked by Maldini since last season, and his transfer to San Siro looks imminent. The 21-year-old also has the sights of Premier League outfits Leicester City, Leeds United and Southampton on him.
The other main target is Chelsea outcast Hakim Ziyech, who has failed to replicate his Ajax form for the Londoners. The Moroccan has already requested the Blues to let him leave and no other team but Milan is on his mind.
The details of the deal for him is still being worked out with Chelsea, and his presence in the red and black jersey will understandably be on the right wing.
Official, confirmed. Divock Origi has joined AC Milan on a free transfer after many years at Liverpool – he’s now officially new Milan player. ?⚫️? #ACMilan
