As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri have had exploratory talks with the Emilian side. The player has the same agent as Stefano Pioli, Gabriele Giuffrida. His wages are low, as he earns less than €1M, so there would be no issue on that front.
Sassuolo are usually an expensive boutique. Although, they are open to peculiar formulas, as it happened with the Manuel Locatelli transfer to Juventus. That could help Milan sanction a deal for Traorè, should they decide he is the right man for the job. The Rossoneri are looking for a central midfielder and a no.10 following the departure of Franck Kessié. Sanches would be able to cover either spot.
The Italian champions are also keeping tabs on Enzo Fernandez as a fallback. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the release clause of the River Plate prodigy is €18M, but it will increase to €23.5M on Monday. He has offers from Benfica and Wolverhampton. However, he is willing to wait for the Scudetto winners until the end of the week before considering other destinations.

The Ivorian has been a star in the last six months after being slightly underwhelming in previous campaigns, considering how touted he has been since breaking out very early.
