Milan Get in Touch with the Entourage of Raspadori

Milan have held a meeting with the agent of Giacomo Raspadori. They expressed their interest in the player, but they have not made an offer. The Sassuolo starlet is also on Juventus’ radar, but he does not appear to be one of their top priorities.

The 22-year-old is coming off his best season yet, as he tallied 10 goals and 6 assists in 36 Serie A appearances. He will be one of the linchpins of the revamped Azzurri. He has 11 caps with the national team and has bagged 3 goals.

According to Sky, Milan are keeping an eye on multiple talents to bolster their frontline and added Raspadori to the list. They will invest around €50M for two additions in the supporting roles this summer, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs. Nicolò Zaniolo and Charles De Ketelaere are mutually exclusive because their respective price tags are weighty.

Sassuolo reportedly demand €30M for the attacker. He has primarily played as a no.10 in their 4-2-3-1 scheme in 2021/2022. However, he can also star as a left-winger or as a false-nine, as he has often done both in Emilia and with Italy.

Our Take on Milan Eyeing Raspadori

The Neroverdi attacker is a safe bet, and his familiarity with the tactic and versatility only add to his appeal. The Rossoneri are tracking a few highly intriguing youngsters, and it will be interesting to see whom they will choose since they have a healthy budget. Signing Raspadori would help with the lists, as Milan might be short on domestically-grown players.
