Milan Have Agreement with Kaio Jorge but Juventus Have Not Given Up

Milan are in pole position to sign Kaio Jorge from Santos. They have come to terms with his agent Giulio Bertolucci, which puts them in a good spot. However, they will not spend the €10M asked by the Brazilian club to complete the deal. The Rossoneri want to pay a lower fee since the starlet has only six months left on his deal, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

Juventus are chasing after the 19-year-old striker as well. Moreover, Milan might take their time because they have only one extra-EU spot open, differently from the Bianconeri. Both Italian sides are willing to offer at most €5/6M to Santos, SportMediaset relays.

Milan director Paolo Maldini admitted that they could also add a young striker on top of Olivier Giroud. Instead, Juventus are looking for a relatively cheap option to fill out the front-line. They remain interested in reuniting with Moise Kean, but they would do the deal only on loan, Tuttosport indicates.

The Rossoneri could part ways with a couple of offensive pieces. Jens Petter-Hauge could leave for a good offer, while the pre-season will be pivotal for the future Rafael Leao. The front office is not fully sold on him, but the €30M spent for him complicates his transfer. Lazio asked to include him in the package when Milan inquired about Luis Alberto, Calciomercato.com informs. Instead, the management are reconsidering their stance on Tommaso Pobega. While he has few suitors attempting to buy him, he could stay, or at most depart on loan, the Italian newspaper informs.
