Milan Initiate Contact for Talented Belgian Pro League Prodigies

Milan oversaw a successful summer transfer window with the on boarding of several talented individuals and the Rossoneri management isn’t satisfied yet. Technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Ricky Massara are already said to have initiated contact for two of Jupiler Pro League’s most in-form prodigies.

According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri headquarters at Casa Milan was the rendezvous point for the meeting of the two Milan executives with the agent(s) of Noa Lang and Yari Verschaeren – both of who are represented by talent management agency Wasserman.

There is concrete interest from Milan’s end for both the players and as confirmed, an exploratory meeting between the club and the players’ intermediaries has taken place over the week.

Recently, Noa Lang’s agent Bart Baving spoke to Calciomercato.it and explained the situation.

“It’s true, I know the Rossoneri appreciate him a lot.  It’s normal that a player with his statistics and numbers can attract top clubs. Now, however, he is completely focused on Club Brugge, he wants to become Belgian champion again,” said Baving.

Verschaeren on the other hand has been on Milan’s radar for quite some time. The Belgian attacking midfielder is a product of Anderlecht’s youth academy and currently has a contract with the giants until June 2024.

He usually plays in Brahim Diaz’s position, would be the perfect fit for the Rossoneri due to Diaz being the only traditional trequartista in the team.
