Milan Interest in Frankfurt Defensive Powerhouse ‘Concrete’

Milan reportedly have expressed interest in shoring up their defense with Eintracht Frankfurt youngster Evan N’Dicka. Having lost captain Alessio Romagnoli on a free transfer to Lazio, the Rossoneri possess a somewhat depleted backline despite having mainstays Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu and Simon Kjaer.

Ulrika Sickenberger – a journalist for renowned German news outlet Bild – has revealed in an exclusive interview with MilanNews regarding the Rossoneri’s desire to sign the 22-year-old prodigy, something that was corroborated by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano. With a contract expiring at the end of next season, in June 2023, the Frenchman is yet to jot down a renewal deal with the West Germans.

Milan have informed Frankfurt of their interest, but no talks have been held, and they would require to shell out at least €20M, according to the reports, despite N’Dicka having a transfermarkt value of €32M.

The sturdy defender dreams of starring in the English Premier League one day, but a move to the Rossoneri is also a plausible scenario. Apart from the Italian champions, he has been linked in the past with Liverpool, Arsenal, Valencia, Sevilla, and Inter.

A versatile center-back who began his professional career in the French Ligue 2 with Auxerre, he quickly earned a high-profile move after just two seasons to the Bundesliga with Frankfurt. He has 139 appearances for Die Adler, scoring 10 goals in the process.
