A host of players have been linked to Milan in the past few days and weeks but few of them match the position Brahim Diaz is handling right now, as a pure central attacking midfielder. The Spaniard is the sole operator in that area and this has prompted the links between an Atletico Madrid attacker and the Rossoneri.
Rojiblancos playmaker Angel Correa is the name in contention for a move to Milan, according to Calciomercato.it. The Argentine midfielder is name slowly falling out of contention in the Spanish capital under Diego Simeone.
The Spanish champions have been slowly picking up their stride in the league with in-form players Joao Felix, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann, pushing few others to sit on the bench.
Although he has garnered 12 appearances across all competitions this season, the last four league games have seen him play for less than 90 minutes.
This is not the first time Correa has been linked with the Rossoneri – the summer of 2019 witnessing heavy rumours regarding him. This time around, Milan are said to be keen on adding a second playmaker in their ranks and Correa is a realistic option.
