Milan Interested in Fluminense and Club Brugge Starlets

Milan will keep an eye towards the future in the January window. While bolstering the attack might not be their top priority, they will be ready to pounce if a good opportunity presents itself. Coach Stefano Pioli admitted as much in a recent presser. They are keeping tabs on pair of talented youngsters that could be on the move in 2022.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have set their sights on Luiz Henrique. The 20-year-old has drawn comparisons to Rivaldo and Kakà in Brazil. He is a left-footed right winger that has shown a strong nose for the goal. He has hit the net 8 times and provided 6 assists in 80 appearances so far.

Milan have a spot open for an extra-EU player and could use it for the attacker, maybe leaving him to his current team on loan afterward. Fluminense ask for €12M to sell him, and the front office is mulling over making an offer. They wanted to pair up Alexis Saelemaekers with a more offensive-minded option in the role last summer already.

The Rossoneri are also monitory Belgian prodigy Charles De Ketelaere, Calciomercato.com reports. Club Brugge have been able to scare away the teams after him with a €25M evaluation so far. However, they will have more trouble holding onto him after being eliminated from the continental competitions. The 21-year-old can play in multiple offensive roles.
