Milan have added Benoit Badiashile to their list of options to shore up the defense in January. They were already interested in the past, like a few other Serie A outfits, but Chelsea outbid all the competitors with a €38M offer in early 2023.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the youngster would become a concrete option if the Blues decided to let him depart on loan. He has had a tough time in London due to a few muscular injuries and subpar conditioning. He has appeared 12 times since switching sides. The center-back has played just once, in the EFL Cup, this season.
Milan were very high on Badiashile when he was at Monaco, and they’d be ready to pounce if Chelsea signed on off his departure. That’s the case also for Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior. Bournemouth demand a hefty fee for Lloyd Kelly. If that doesn’t change, they’ll focus on trying to onboard him on a Bosman move given his short-term contract.
The Rossoneri acquired Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek from the Blues last summer and Fikayo Tomori in the past.
