Milan reportedly want to sign Chelsea centre-back Malang Sarr.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri are looking for defensive reinforcements after Simon Kjaer suffered a serious injury against Genoa. They are interested in Sarr who has hardly featured for Chelsea this season. Milan are hoping to making the most out of their excellent relations with the West London club.
With Kjaer sidelined for a long time, Stefano Pioli’s side need a signing or two at the back. Sarr, who is currently valued at €7.5m according to Transfermarkt, has been anything but a regular since he joined Chelsea from Nice. He spent last season on loan at Porto, making 19 appearances for them.
Sarr is still at Stamford Bridge now but has only featured in three matches for them so far. He made his Premier League debut in the Blues’ 1-0 win over Brentford in October.
A move away from Chelsea would do well for the 22-year-old as far as game time is concerned. He would be a suitable addition to Milan’s squad and would receive more minutes than he does under Thomas Tuchel.
