Milan Left Spectating as Spurs Inch Closer to Nelsson Transfer

Milan are monitoring the progress of Galatasaray defender Victor Nelsson, as they prepare to bolster their squad in a window marked by the departures of several key club figures, including Paolo Maldini and Sandro Tonali. However, the Danish international is eager to kickstart his career in the Premier League or La Liga.

According to Turkish outlet Hurriyet, Nelsson has asked Galatasaray to accept the offer tabled by Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the week, in the range of €22M. While Galatasaray have maintained their asking price of €25M, it seems likely they will oblige to the stopper’s request, meaning a blow to Milan’s interest.

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Nelsson, but fiery North London rivals Spurs have an upper hand as things stand. Meanwhile, The Rossoneri defense performed at subpar levels during important periods of the season, and signing Nelsson would arrive as a welcome sign ahead of a crucial season across all fronts.

Nelsson is credited for being a versatile defender, also capable of manning the defensive midfield position.
