Milan Likely to Complete Multiple Deals in January

Milan are expected to be very busy in January to amend their previous mistakes and remedy their ongoing sticky patch. The Rossoneri will try to sign a new striker and they won’t stop there. Jonathan David and Serhou Guirassy are the leading candidates, but there are some obstacles in both cases, Sky Italy reports.

They are considering activating Assan Ouedraogo’s €12M release clause. They have to battle for his services with Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, and Inter. They’ll try to beat the competition.

Milan intend to bring in a proper Theo Hernandez deputy in January after failing to replace Fodé Ballo-Touré. They have been in talks with Real Betis to sign Juan Miranda, who’ll join them on a Bosman move if he doesn’t arrive sooner. They haven’t reached an agreement yet. The Rossoneri don’t want to spend much given the situation. Between the fee and the commission, the deal could cost up to €5M. But they might wait it out.

They have been linked to a few defenders, but Genoa and Bournemouth don’t want to lose Radu Dragusin and Lloyd Kelly in the winter respectively. The Cherries have set a high price tag despite his short-term contract.

Our Take on Milan and January

They probably won’t be able to do as much as they wish. The striker should be the main priority, while they can wait for some bargains in the other two roles.
