Milan-Linked Lang Voices His Intention to Switch Teams

Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, who is being pursued by Milan, has admitted that he plans to leave the Belgian side this summer, although he did not offer any clue about his destination. The attacker spoke to De Telegraaf.

“It will be a very important step, especially with the World Cup just around the corner. I will choose based on what makes me feel good. I do not know what my future will be. Should I stay, I would be happy anyway. I love this club and always give my whole to it.”

“We have mutually agreed that it is time for me to leave so I can keep growing. If I joined a bigger side, I would be able to train at a higher level and perform with more intensity. Such aspects would contribute to making me a better player. I do not have a preference in terms of leagues. Strong footballers can go anywhere. It will be a matter of sensation about the new team.”

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are interested in Lang but have reservations because he primarily plays as a left-winger, the same role as Rafael Leao. The Rossoneri prefer Charles De Ketelaere because they have a more urgent need at no.10, Tuttomercatoweb informs. The teammate is significantly more expensive, though. The Dutch international also downplayed the links to Scudetto winners in an interview with Nu.

Our Take on Milan Eyeing Lang

The 22-year-old has displayed a rather brazen personality in his recent remarks and would be a fascinating wild card to add considering his versatility. However, it does not look like the Rossoneri’s transfer market strategy will change much under RedBird Capital. If they plot to make just one major offensive move, they should focus on different positions.
